Abstract	Reducing the information to be stored in GBIF may prevent us to carry out several assessments and analyses in the future. Thus, we have to find a way to store virtually all available information, but also not saturating GBIF. I propose to relate any specimen stored in GBIF to a unique number, and decentralize information storage.
