| Abstract | Sharing information obviously is fundamental to biodiversity science and conservation. However, insufficient attention is given to the development of effective and efficient validation techniques and tools. These are crucial to the use of the information, especially taking into account the overwhelming amount of available data. Development of such tools should therefore be a high priority. Ultimately, it may be necessary to restrict access to data of dubious accuracy. |
